Apple – iPad – Yet another Revolutionary Device

// January 31st, 2010 // Gadgets, Tech // Written by

It is really hard to believe that apple could fit so many great ideas into something so thin. A large, high-resolution LED-backlit IPS display. An incredibly responsive Multi-Touch screen. And an amazingly powerful Apple-designed chip. All in a design that’s thin and light enough to take anywhere. iPad isn’t just the best device of its kind. It’s a whole new kind of device.

    Truly elegant but a shame there is no:
    Camera
    Multitasking
    Changeable Batteries
    Ports

    The only thing that sets it apart from any of the dozen or so other tablet pcs that have come out over the years (remember their names? yeah. nobody else does either) is better hardware specs, better price point, and a mac os.

    Dear Alec,

    I do agree with your point. Hope apple will add those features in the coming days :)

    It doesn't have an SD card slot or USB slot. You want to load all your photos on it? You need to buy a special dongle and attach it to the iPad. Ah yes, that's convenient and cost-effective.

    Apple wants to say it will be great for reading books and magazines, but it has a bright, glossy LCD screen. Meanwhile, electronic book reader devices use an electronic ink technology that doesn't strain the eyes and can be used in the sun.

    To the people saying how silly it would be for phone calls: Obviously you wouldn't hold it up to your head, you would either use a bluetooth headset or treat it like a speaker phone.
